Looking into the forums on Waypoint and steam, you would think 343 personally came into your homes, kidnapped your children and set your homes on fire. The community at large is just as bad as the Star Wars community in terms of toxicity, entitlement and just bad behavior. Everyone turns into a keyboard warrior and just flips out. Granted, I expected that with the PC players just as a standard because its the PC master-race, but come on guys. We as a community need to take a step back, take a deep breath and reevaluate why we tolerate the worse of us. I’m not saying having debate or criticism, but jeez the things that people say and do because of a video game is crazy. You not liking something is no reason to become a awful version of ones self.
At the end of the day, we must not allow the worse of us to act as gatekeepers and drive away other players. The infection runs deep in this community, and it has always been there, but these days its simply just too much.
