The GI Article seemed to divide us, but as Frankie said we would slowly calm our nerves. I think we just needed to see a little gameplay, and once I saw the fast, bunny hopping spartans we came to love, I was happy. I’m glad to see the general consensus of our renewed faith in the franchise.
Of course someone’s gonna find something they hate and post an annoying thread about it, but in an effort to counter negativity with a happier post, I finish my first thread on the forums.
Discuss the postives, we all know they outweigh the negatives

Everyone seems to have calmed down since then. That’s a step in the right direction at least. There are many different kinds of people, most who react rationally and irrationally. Rational people will take new and sudden news, take a deep breath and give it some thought before coming up with a good opinion, other people will have a need to react on their first impulse that comes to their mind. It’s not really any way to judge someone it’s just their base personality.
> In my opinion, they should’ve kept their cool from the start…
Well, when the only information you give people in 8 or 9 months about a immensely popular video game franchise is unexpected and can easily be misinterpreted, you can’t really expect people not to lose their -blam!-. If it had been as clear and concise and when they explained it in the podcast this whole mess could’ve been avoided.

Please forgive me if editing this post causes this thread to resurface. I want to delete my original post, but I see no option to do so. Thus, deleting it in this manner will have to suffice.
I like to think of this as another calm before the storm. The moment we’ll get a new announcement, the madness will start all over again. You just can’t stop it.

Exactly. At least the game has a viable core though
I’ve learned a long time ago that if you don’t agree with something that was said by another user, no matter how stupid it was, it was their opinion and you should simply ignore him until he goes away. If you ignore him and he doesn’t go away however, he’ll eventually lead himself down a path of destruction and will get banned.
Trust me, don’t waste your time with idiots. Just keep walking and they will eventually die one day because of their own ignorance.
Maybe I’m crazy, but I think alot of people on the forums are close-minded on the idea of adding new mechanics to the game. To them, If it’s anything different from the original trilogy, it’s a cod clone. Kinda like old people with Star Wars. (take that last sentence with a grain of salt, don’t wanna get too controversial:])But the way I see it, it’s a new trilogy, shake things up.

I think of it as storm before the calm.
That way I can look forward to, and help others look forward to peace, and “clear skies” again. It appears the recent storm is beginning to end, the calm coming to take its place. But as you said, I predict at least one more big storm before release.
