Didn’t fall for it, hence the question mark. I don’t understand Twitter anyway. Just made one because PUBG decided to handle support via Twitter.

Multiplayer games that aren’t crossplatform are more difficult to sustain healthy population…
I think allow PS4 and PS5 to have multiplayer, keep campaign exclusive. Easy.

Same. I’m pretty sure they’d have the option to disable crossplay too (like they had with COD Warzone) so it would be a no brainer for me too.

Not in the business sense. Microsoft owns 343 Industries, meaning that if they did put on the PS4/PS5, they would be giving money to Sony, even if they get a cut of that money.

I mean I agree Microsoft would NEVER do this, but the entire Xbox population? Nah, just the Infinite players, MCC would still be on Xbox and Steam.
Also the reason this thread exists is because when Sony purchased Bungie Sony Ponies thought they were getting Halo unironically as a PS exclusive, leading to people who actually know the facts of the situation, like OP here, to be confused because Halo is owned by Microsoft.
Well, it does seem like MS ultimately wants Game Pass to be available everywhere, since they make the most money there. So maybe not PS5, but who knows in future generations (if console generations still exist then!)

Only way it ends up on Playstation is if GamePass ends up on Playstation. And while I have no doubt that is absolutely Microsoft’s goal, it isn’t happening anytime soon. Wouldn’t be a bad thing if it happened though. More people being able to play games is always a good thing.
