Halo Combat Evolved vs Halo Custom Edition.

So I’m a little confused about the 2 PC ports to Halo 1. I know what the Custom Edition is but my question is how to you get it?. I bought Halo Combat Evolved on PC a few weeks ago and want to make full use of the Custom Edition. Is there a download that can bring features of the Custom Edition to a Combat Evolved disc. I’ve looked for physical copies of the Custom Edition but I can’t find anything.

The halomaps website has all kinds of info to help you get started. Are you looking to make maps for use in the PC version or to eventually play on xbox?

You can definitely get new maps, have you tried any of those?

I was looking into playing different maps that the community created. I saw a really cool map called FloodGultch. Marines vs the Flood

I played Halo Custom Edition and I’m having a problem with it. It literally restarts my computer after playing for awhile. Anybody got any help to fix it
