Halo: Combat Evolved Vehicles Issue (Resolved)

For about three weeks or so, I’ve been having an issue that only appears when I play Halo: Combat Evolved. For some reason, my look sensitivity is greatly decreased whenever I enter a vehicle. This makes it especially difficult to maneuver a Warthog/Banshee. It’s also almost impossible to properly utilize a tank. I’ve tried turning my sensitivity up to 10 but it’s still VERY slow. I noticed this when I was testing out a new custom game I’ve been working on, but it’s been happening in Matchmaking as well. I haven’t tried it in campaign since, but I assume it’s the same there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

(PS, I know generally people find the vehicles in CE difficult to handle, but I’ve gotten very good with these. I’ve been playing ever since I was a kid and the game first came out. At first I thought it was just a one-time thing, but it’s been a consistent problem, and I know it isn’t just in my head. Something seems to be genuinely wrong with my controls)

Try increasing your vehicle FOV if you haven’t already. Perhaps that will make the vehicles feel better to use.

I’ll try that next time I’m on. Thanks for the suggestion!

Changing the FOV was a good suggestion, but ultimately it made me feel a bit sick. However, I messed around with the Axial Deadlock Zone and that seemed to fix it. I put it up to twelve, it had been at 3. Not sure why it was changed, as I never touched it before.
