Halo 3 got it, so why not the original? Especially since we never got a Halo: CE anniversary multiplayer. Just do it the same way Halo 3 Playlist had. Get Forgers to make each map from CE, and put them all in a playlist with settings that turn off the movement features.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary could technically be Bungie’s game since 343i remade a game made from Bungie, campaign-wise at least, while the multiplayer portion is Halo Reach, another game developed by Bungie
We already got that quite a while ago, it was featured around the time of the 16th anniversary of CE last year. Unless you just mean a playlist without enhanced mobility, I guess.

We did have this already as mentioned above ^. Also there are already plenty of CE maps in the game if you play Super Fiesta. The CE maps were moved to that playlist after the CE playlist rotated out.

Microsoft will own all the Halo IP so can do with it what they want
