Hey everyone, my name is Richard. I took out my Halo Combat Evolved CD a few months ago and installed it on Windows 10. It worked well for a week or so. Then I didn’t play it for several months. Now when I try to open the game it will not open let alone play. Anyone else have this problem. Just FYI, Halo 2 for Windows Vista works well…

I have a similar issue, I can’t open it because then it says: “Please login with administrator privileges and try again.” and running it as admin doesn’t work either, because then it just doesn’t open. Not even the startup screen.

I found a link with a patch that solved my problem, so maybe it will sove yours too
