Halo: Combat Evolved Legendary Advice

So, I’m going through Halo: CE on Legendary. I’ve done it with friends but I’m doing it by myself. I would love any advice for this. I’m in the middle of Assault on the Control Room.

I’d really like any advice for the Library since it is my least favorite level.

basically the only advice i can think of for Halo 1 legendary, is use the Plasma Pistol and human pistol as much as you can. also Plasma Rifle is good for taking down Elites shields. and other weapons to use are the shotgun and rockets when theyre available. good luck :wink:

Definitely shotguns for the flood. Its borderline imperative.

For other levels ditch the AR. Pistol = Jesus. You’re going to be running out of ammo often, take that into consideration.

Few tips for the Library on Legendary.

  • Use a pistol to take out flood in long range. (most useful weapon in this mission)
  • Use shotgun to take out flood in short range.
  • Know where the enemies are. The motion tracker is a good tool to know where they are.
