Halo Reach’s Edition got announced in April!
And i doubt 343 will release one when there is like 3 weeks left till release.
Yah seeing as how this halo game Is the special edition of Halo CE, I doubt it even more. Although with this game in mind, I Really hope that 343 remakes Halo 2 for the current xbox live. It would be nice to play it online, have it intertwined with Halo Waypoint and all that. I really like Halo 2, shoot that was the game that got me Addicted to Halo!
I’d prefer not to. I think the regular edition is fine. We don’t need a special edition for everything.

One of the big selling points for Anniversary is the price, making a special edition will bump the price up.

Same here, but I believe we get all that if we buy pre-order the game, which if you want to, not you specificaly, you better Hurry! That Timer is getting close to 00:00:00:00:00 WOOTT WOOT!

True, but if you already paid for the “Top Edition” of the game, and they came out with something more, yeah Illegal, Can’t Do that. False Advertising.

Technically no because they didn’t say there would or wouldn’t be a “top version”. But like others have said, there is only 3 weeks left so it is unlikely.
It is unfortunate because I thought they would for the ten year anniversary. Then again I guess the game itself does that.
I think the reason theyre not doing it is because at 40$ it will sell like hotcakes to cod fanboys. all in all I see CEA as a remake for the long time halo supporters and yet at the same time, a marketing campaign for hr and h4. = genius.
They haven’t announced anything, and it’s very unlikely they’d announce something this late in the day.
I’d still be ready to buy anything they announced though, especially a controller or headset.

In this case though, yes illegal, because they did say that there would only be One version of the game, extra goodies if you pre-ordered. So yeah then it would be illegal
Pretty sure that’s not illegal…
There may be a case to answer if they’d already taken your money, but there is no contract between you and the retailer/MS until money has changed hands, they can change the deal at any time up until that point. And that includes cancelling your pre-order codes.

Itll probably be like ODST. They won’t really make a big deal out of it because it just came with a Controller.
