I don’t know why, but there has been so many halo-related coincidences for me. I was in my math class the other day drawing the halo ring because I got bored, then I realized that I was in Geometry (which is about shapes) and the halo ring is shaped like a cylinder. I checked the room number of my class, it was Room #117, then later that day, I returned home at 3:43 pm (I didn’t have a watch or a phone on me, so I didn’t time my entrance) Then later that week they announced that on Monday was Costume day and I chose to dress up as the Master Chief, but Monday was also my B-day. After I returned home from costume day, I found out that not only was it my B-day and costume day, it was also Halo 3’s 10-year Anniversary. Am I just lucky or what?!
Wow. If Halo IRL were still a thing here, you’d have won it a few times in a row.

My absolute best IRL Halo moment was when I met up with B is for Bravo for dinner in Edinburgh a few weeks back. The place we went to was at 343 High St and inside they had a section called The Halo Room. Couldn’t believe it haha. Quite often when I visit Tim Hortons for coffee as well, my order number will be #117 
idk if this counts but once at a band event in middle school there was a big container full of gum and you had to guess how much was in it and who ever got the closest keeps it, and I decided what the heck and said 117. i got the exact number.

The one that happens for me and my other Halo friend is that we send voice messages on Voxer to each other, and it will be 1:17 long. It ‘feels like’ it happens when I send voxes soooooo much more than other ‘random’ times (I don’t look at the phone when I am talking, so I have no idea send length). We always joke and say its a sign (we don’t play as much as we used to, now in our 30’s with life stuff).
Anyway, for this thread, I literally sent 3 IN A ROW the other day that were 1:17. It was responding to a bunch of my friends from earlier (both work, so no voice usually throughout the day). THAT, I’m pretty sure was a sign.
I feel like I ‘clock look’ at 3:43 a lot too. It times out to when I get to the gym pretty well (first clock look after drive home from work).
The whole Geometry thing reminds me of my last year Geometry class. It was the seventh class I had for the day, and it was in room 343. Not as coincidental as what you had (lucky) but coincidental nonetheless.
