How about trying to fix the core of halo, the campaign that made the master chief and halo so famous. All me and my mate want to do is sit back and play through the campaign together on legendary, have a few laughs, that is what halo was all about! Halo 2 campaign simply doesn’t work across 2 xbox’s. All 343 is focused on is matchmaking, forgetting what really makes halo. Fix the campaign so people can play it and chill with friends.
My friend and I had some checkpoint saving issues in CE on our initial Legendary run. We haven’t tried again since given the plethora of issues across all aspects of the title. What coop issues are you and your mate experiencing?
When you go to start halo 2 co-op make sure the visuals and music setting it set to classic and you should have better luck. This is what has worked for me and my buddy. Once in the game you can change over to remastered if you want to.
i’ve got the same save game issues whilst paying halo CE on local co-op. It does seem like all 343’s efforts are going into the fixing the multiplayer, and those of us who want to enjoy the brilliant campaign are being totally forgotten. sort it out 343!!!
Please 343i fix compaigns issue. Halo it’s not just matchmakings.
It’s the 5th time now I tried to play The Truth And Reconciliation at Legendary in local coop and the game continually freezee going out to the dashboard.
Please guys, fix it.
Me and my friends bought the MCC to play co-op campaign. Because MM is not our cup of tea… Bug the game suffers from unbearable input lags. Games simply aren’t working correctly, and i don’t want to play single payer !
The only game we can play co-op is Halo4, the worst of them i’m sorry to tell you. Especially about co-op as this halo4 is so scripted that the second player keep on dying crush by doors.
Also, roster is -Yoinked!-, UI is -Yoinked!- with overlapping menus, controller lose the game control… and i can go on, and on, and on… This is the master BUG collection !
343 You MUST fix that games ! We paid for this to exist. This is insulting towards Bungie. We expected you to use our damn money (not including our xboxlive subscription!!) to REMASTER those games. And not to stack bugfull unplayable “hd” games in a bundle. The only thing that your “mighty over 1GB update” did is disable the medals in scoring campaign : they don’t show up anymore.
So !? How am i suppose to play LASO mode ? how am i suppose to complete the 90% campaign oriented content ? This is a scam. FIX IT, OR REFUND IT !

Thanks for the tip but it didn’t work. Just to confirm it isn’t our Internet, that’s a definite, it’s just Halo, in particular one mission on Halo 2 which is Delta Halo. This problem still persists after updates and they still focus on matchmaking

Sorry to hear that didn’t work for you. Its been the only way me an my buddy have been able to play.But I guess its just random. I mean it really bugs me that the single player is as buggy as the multiplayer.
I had been trying to play H2A Co-Op over Live w/ my Dad for just under 3 weeks with no success. We tried everything from starting the party ahead of time, starting the game without a party, starting a party and game in game, ensured NAT was open, and so on.
It finally worked last night when I put it on classic visuals. As soon as it connected, I hit the button to switch back and had no issue, even when we went to the next levels. We were tempted to just marathon it and play to the end, but I’m not retired like he is.
I’m hoping it works again tonight.
The coop has frame issues, level completion is rarely registered, and there is no widescreen support for halo 3 & 4 split screen… Seriously? Such a beautiful disaster this game is. Utter rubbish.
