Hey everyone!
I have been thinking about this for a while, basiclly do you think it would be a good idea for 343 to add a playlist with classic Halo maps and perhaps settings too? I mean with Forge being as good as it is, I’ve seen a ton of great remakes. (My favourites from Halo CE) I iust think this would be a cool playlist.
Obvuiosly we need snipers, doubles and Actionsack first, but yeah, what do you think?

I have been saying for a while the game needs ONE CASUAL simple gametype called Halo Classic with the H2 BR as a starting weapon with Spartan charge and ground pound turned off. With the CE pistol as a power weapon. Before anybody say this MCC IS NOT AN OPTION. ITS STILL MESSED UP. As one example, I played MCC over the weekend and one match my first 4 kills never showed in the score on a h2 BTB match. Second example, Tuesday night after 11pm Eastern Standard time I could not get into a match at AL PERIOD for the rest of the night. I tried for an hour and half. So stop it with the MCC suggestion. We need this gametype.

Yeah I agree completely, it would be so much fun. In addition the MCC is just… I’m not even going to go there lol, this thread will turn into me having a rant.
I will almost bet as well, that this thread will have few responses and will die quickly. People on here would rather complain all day that to support an idea that would only benefit the game. There is no downside what so ever to my suggestion. Yet, it will either get ignored or people will still try to refer to MCC in spite of my statements.

Yeah most likely, I think it would be a great addition. I personally can’t see a downside either, however, I am interested to hear what others have to say about it. People just love to argue haha

I agree, but think it’s great for more than that, you could have like a competition for forgers to make the best remakes. Although lots have been done already, more forgers would put more of the talent they have to use and make them even better.

Yeah, it would awesome for he community to make maps as I said above. Like imagine how good the maps would be if 343i made it Into a competition and all the best maps get a vote system in waypoint. Each time someone wins the get like a special area pack. And not just for classic, for all maps introduced into the game.

Sounds like a great idea, it’s something people have wanted for a while. The only problem I see, is that some of the weapons in Halo 5 are better than they used to be, especially for range effectiveness.

Another equally good suggestion that I have also made and continue to make. There is no reason what so ever why this can’t be don’t. there are some amazing maps that are out there. But most of the playerbase will never even see. We could easily have 30 UNIQUE maps to play on. But this is just something else that will go ignored.

It seems like missed opportunity. It sucks for people whom don’t Have people to play with on H5 most of my friends play pc or don’t play games at all. All theses amazing creations, only to be played on once or twice is such a waste

Yeah, but surely that’s a small obstacle to overcome? I mean just use guns that are fair? Surely here’s a better way, but that’s e first thing I could think of
