Why is Halo Channel only available for Windows 8.1 and not for like windows 7 or older versions of windows or mobile devices like iOS or android ?
It most likely makes use of features or api’s that are not available in Windows 7. As for mobile, it’s supposed to be coming to Windows Phone but no timeframe on that. I wouldn’t rule out other mobile platforms, as it stands Microsoft had more of it’s apps on competitor platforms than Apple and Google combined
