So earlier today I was going through MCC->Halo: CE to get the skulls and terminals and after the first terminal it stopped registering that I was finding the terminals. I was having issues with the Xb1 HC app so I tried it on my Windows 8.1 computer and the app will not start on 8.1. It ‘opens’ and stays on the initial loading screen for about five minutes and then crashes. I’ve tried restarting, uninstalling, and re-installing and it still doesn’t work. Does anyone have a workaround or an answer to this problem. The HC support website is garbage and only has a link to the forums page for answers as they have no such thing as a ticket submission form or a FAQ page. If someone can help, please let me know.
Also why is the Halo Channel app not listed on the Xbox Live Service Status support page like every other app is? Just wondering.
Hi, I get the same kind of issue with the Halo Channel on Windows 8.1. When I start the app, it just hangs on the splash screen and I need to quit and restart it multiple times for it to actually work correctly. I also notice that it creates a lot of errors saying that “the app did not launch within its allotted time”.
Would be nice to get an update to fix that kind of issues. Cheers.
