Damn…I just tried it out on Windows 8.1

The navigation inside this app is just…what should I say? The same fail like Windows 8. It’s just complicated.- Then, the same 5sec preview screen always when I open a video, time-consuming and annoying.- You just added some bulky place holders for all the Halo videos like teminals, cutscenes, etc…The best is: You can’t even play the video inside the Halo:Channel and you have to turn on your Xbox and the start the game to do so? WTF. Give us back Halo Waypoint where one could watch the video-streams just with a browser!
I used the app for like 20 min, so this is just a small list of bullet points I noticed in this short time. Didn’t want to use it any longer. -
Plus, where is all the content now? The old Halo Waypoint is gone and so its content (all the great motion comics, terminal videos, cutscenes etc.). I thought I can watch it on Halo:Channel, but there is just NOTHING…
I am really disappointed! A redesign (of Halo Waypoint) doesn’t mean you can trim all the content to zero!
