Halo channel app wont sign in

So basically downloaded the halo channel app for ios as I’m after it, but it wont let me sign into my xbox profile and just keeps telling me to go to xbox.com to fix the issue but when i sign in there nothing pops up.

xbox live account error
please sign into xbox.com to resolve the problem or sign in with a different account.
