Halo will always change. If you like Halo 4, sorry get ready for change for Halo 5. They have changed since Halo CE 10+ years ago.
- Halo 2 ==> introduced dual wielding.
- Halo 3 ==> introduced Rocket Pod, power ups (bubble shield, portable grav lift), and other things
- Halo: Reach ==> introduced armor abilities, sprint etc…
Halo 4 will introduce new items and abilities and so will every Halo game from now 'till the end of time. If you were looking for a game that found a system that worked and the company wanted to ride that system until it dies then play CoD.
One of the main things that brings me back to the new Halo games is seeing what changes were made and how they would affect game play and functionality. If people would just start looking at this game as what it is…A GAME, and stop thinking of it like a combat shooter that is being made for just hardcore gamers then many of these complaints would be eradicated.
Halo 4 will be fun regardless of the changes that they make. Halo:Reach was a shock, and for the first few days I hated what I was playing. After I got used to the new game modes and the changes though it became a lot of fun. If you thought Halo CE was the greatest Halo ever, then -Yoinking- play that one. Don’t hate on a game that hasn’t even been released, and even for the people that have played it, is not yet finalized. Making suggestions or talking about things you would like to see is one thing, but using terms like sucks, terrible, worst Halo ever, stupid, or just like CoD to refer to a game that hasn’t come out yet is wrong. Plus all the people saying it sucks or it will suck, guess what? You’re gunna buy it and have fun with it anyway, so approch the topic with a sense of constructive criticism, not tearing it apart.

never knew a BR changed…
OT: I’m welcoming all the new changes. Halo does change. Sometimes for the worse (Reach), and sometimes for the better (Halo 4).
I don’t mind change. I do mind changes that touch the core of halo MP.
What would you say if your favorite pizza bit by bit was changed to something you don’t like to eat? Right…you would be dissapointed. That, my friend, in a nutshell is the big yoinking problem. You would not care if the pizzabox changed colour or anything, they only should make changes that don’t touch the core of a game.
Yes if someone changed a “pizza” that I loved until it was something I hated I would be upset. However, you are making the assumption that the original pizza is no longer able to be eaten. Halo is still out there. You can still play it. ERGO play the Halo you loved. If you don’t like any other Halo games, the answer is simple. Don’t play them. Not complicated.

thanks for responding. i guess my point is clear. pointing back to the other halo titles does not change the fact that the core of MP is touched/ altered. i am disappointed that my favorite game is changing to something it was as first not.
“my pizza is changing to a different kind of food but strangely enough it is still called pizza”
I like change, life is boring and linear without, same goes for Halo.
I like change, but I don’t like bad change.

Trouble is your analogy is off. The pizza toppings or base or cheese are changing. The game is still sci-fi first person console shooter based with the story continuation and the sandbox is very much intact.
Fact: Your food is still pizza, just the method of coooking and ingredients are being shuffled somewhat.
