IMO the Magnum ROF has been reduced and is quite close or exactly the same too the original Magnums ROF.
No AA’s seem to be present and i’m not sure if jump height and movement speed have been buffed.
This has gotten me excited about the classic playlist - As I am more a DMR kinda guy. All I want now is to see the DMR and NR in action and hopefully they will fix ZB for those weapons. 343 thank you for fixing the Magnum and please show us the updated DMR and NR

How do you guys like 343’s changes from the TU Beta?
with the exception of spamming in ZB(i prefer the default bloom in the playlist) and it seeming as NOTHING was done to AL, i like it. i honestly havnt plyaed halo online for about a week or so. been occupied with other games. hahaha. takin a halo break(well online at least) till CEA comes out. hahaha

The DMR and NR won’t be in the classic/anniversary playlist at all, and the jump height in that video looks like 50% of the default reach jump height. The settings for that gametype look horrible IMO.
The only two things similar to Halo 1 are faster movement, and a three shot magnum, that’s it. Jump height looks atrocious. You weren’t exactly Superman in Halo: CE, but you could jump higher than what is shown in the video.
I was really holding out hope for this playlist, because I’ve wanted to play CE online or at least some sort of replica, but I’m disappointed with this video to be honest. Faster movement + 3sk magnum =/= Halo: CE. Looks like I’ll just be sticking to Vanilla Reach or Halo 3 again. Such a shame really…

Watch the video again and go play Reach. Jump height in the video is probable closer to 50%, which is still MUCH lower than it ever was in Halo: CE. Heck, Reach’s default jump height is closer to CE’s than the modified jump height in this video.

Lol are you blind? That looks like 50% jump height with 150% gravity. Also after rewatching that video it looks like they removed movement acceleration, awesome.
I remember when i was playing Halo Anniversary on gamescom 2011 on xbox comunity party, maaan i was so drank but playing with guys from 343 on two old/new maps was owesome. Next day i meet DenNis and Dan in buisnes area…i stil have that energy sword code…THANKS DENNIS!!!

actually it IS reduced RoF, so the magnum is perfect shot (and spamming is on Auto-Fire mode actually btw) and bloom is showing like a sniper effect. you see it, but is not there
Movement speed looked perfect and I can’t wait till we get to play it. As for the magnum, it did seem to have a reduced ROF to where players can’t completely spam it like crazy like how it exists in the TU Beta. Since it is an Auto Weapon in this playlist, this means your forced to time the shots perfectly to land a 3sk making players unable to randomly fire and get lucky kills.
So stoked for the playlist! Jump height did seem a little too short though. Reach default jump height would play better with movement speed like that.
Well the only thing that bothered me was the super low jumps. Default reach jumps were WAY closer than that. As for movement speed I have to watch the video over. As for the pistol im kinda mixed about that. Maybe im a -Yoink!- but it seemed in that video that 2 shots popped shields but if I remember correctly In CE 2 shots left you with a tony bit of shelf left. Small complaint but I figured id voice my opinion.

We asked and asked for the ROF to be toned down on the pistol. Looks like it has been adjusted accordingly and should be stupid awesome now.

Gravity 200%, jump normal, movement 120%.
And actually, AR killed a guy with 16 bullets, shotty got a range upgrade, pummel is like CE’s and I also think Needler has been toned to almost 0 power but ultra-combine at certain number of needles with shields

fun thing about sniper: it actually has bloom, if you dont believe me, do this: With the sniper fire one shot, then reload and starting the reload animation change the weapon 2 times (so you have sniper again) and the bloom has not reseted yet, so fire the 3 shots fast and they will all be random

You’re wrong actually, the ROF on the sniper makes it impossible to fire again until the bloom is 100% reset.
