Halo CEA Theater Mode Just Confirmed?

Ok, 343i might have just confirmed theater mode for Halo CEA with their Grunt Funeral Skull Video.
When you’re in theater mode in halo 3, odst, or reach and you stop the video, the shadows and lighting on the guns and surrounding objects change somewhat.

Now, if you look in the newest video at the end around the 42 second mark, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYfNBCHYHFE#t=00m42s, the shadows on the pistol are changing even though the player has stopped moving.

This is just pure speculation on my part, but does anyone think there is any truth to this?

It could just be what ever editing tools they used to make the video. Just Re-read the Q’s and A’s from HBO and they said saved films would NOT be in the campaign.

Halo ANN Q and A: Link

It’s stated in the answer to the second question.

To get theatre into Halo CE’s campaign, they would’ve had to rewrite the games engine. Which they didn’t.

What you’re seeing is a result of that being the first Anniversary build to feature that version of the pistol instead of the Reach one. In other words, the texture on that thing sucks in that build, causing it to pop in and out, but they’ve already done work to improve it. Also, Theater has already been confirmed as not being included in the campaign.

Actually the engine has a free-fly camera built into the code which pauses onscreen action (campaign only)

Remember there’s a second graphics engine running, we don’t know what features are built into this second engine, it could very well have a camera.
