Halo CEA Terminals

i apologize in advance if this has been asked before. I’m just a little confused about the narrative in the Halo CEA terminals. Guilty Spark is originally warning the Pillar of Autumn not to approach the installation and then changes his mind upon discovering that they are human. He then states they they are free to approach and that they have much to discuss. Is he directly speaking to the crew of the Pillar of Autumn or is this just an inner dialogue much like the rest of the terminals?

The Terminal is actually that transmission informing the PoA that it was free ti approach, but given the state of the ship at that time I doubt anyone actually got a chance to see it.

Thanks for reply. I was just curious since there was no indication in the game or the books that the Pillar of Autumn received any transmissions from Guilty Spark. As far as I know.

Yeah. Halo CEA was the first Halo game with actual animated Terminals; Halo 3, Reach, and ODST had text/audio based Terminals, much like Halo 5. Halo 4, CEA, and 2A are the onlu games with actual animated Terminals.

That’s just 343 adding that to the story, really.
