I apologize if somebody has already addressed this, but does anybody know if 343i will release the soundtrack for Anniversary? The bit they showed at HaloFest sounded soooooooo much better than the original. I would love to get my hands on a copy I could put on my iPod!

What’s the difference between the two?
The original soundtrack was done back when Bungie was on a tight budget. They didn’t know how wildly successful the game was actually going to be. So Marty O’Donnell didn’t really get to use a real orchestra.
With the new soundtrack, a group of people sat down and listened to the original and spent months just listening to it and notating it note for note, as there are no copies of the original score anywhere to be found. When that was finished, they actually got a real orchestra together and rerecorded the music, and it sounds SOOOOOOO much better.
Think about it like this, compare the sound quality of the Halo: CE soundtrack, to that of the Halo 2 soundtrack.
