When I first saw the trailer of Halo CEA I was really excited.I was thinking that I’d finally be able to play the amazing maps I remembered from Halo CE and Halo PC.
So I per-ordered it. I cannot say I was not astounded by the amazing campaign graphics and the stunning re-imagined multiplayer maps but I was disappointed because I have fond memories of playing on maps absent from the chosen 6. This is why I suggest that 343 Industries make a second map pack featuring re-imagined versions of the maps:
I know that it is quite a few maps and that Sidewinder and Chill Out have already been remade once and that Gephyrophobia was re-imagined as Narrows in Halo 3 but I’d really like to be able to play on them again. (The reason I’d like to see Blood Gulch put in even though Hemorrhage is an almost direct remake of it is that I’d like to see it more like Blood Gulch with rock bases, dead trees, similar terrain type to Blood Gulch and the canyon of Blood Gulch, not Coagulation.)
I think 343 & Microsoft could make good money with an all new multiplayer, online only game that plays all the maps from H ce, 2, & 3. Just split it up between a campaign disc, and a multiplayer download. Use it as the official multiplayer and then just release new maps for every few years. If all the software is downloaded to begin with, updates and changes to keep things fresh would be easy. New maps, and games could even be modified routinely keeping things less predictable, and correcting issues discovered after distribution. In fact it might be a way to draw customers to xbox live as the multiplayer experience would only be available online. Can you having all those maps available for play with the same game engine. it would be

i’d like to see all Halo CE and H2 maps be resurrected as DLC for Halo 4. its such a shame that i came late to the halo party, and was never able to play h2 online. sadface
Yea but it’s an idea for a Halo CE Anniversary Map Pack. The maps have to come from Halo CE or Halo PC

I was thinking of something similar; a Halo Multiplayer edition with every map from every Halo and map pack, as well as all the firefight maps. It would be amazing.

I agree. Also, 343 should do a Halo 2 Anniversary in 2014. Then we could all play Halo 2 online

The Anniversary map pack is just so GOOOOOD! The best maps on Reach IMO, I’d love to see more classics return! I can only play the six maps so many times! Another Anniversary map pack would be great! Halo CE or Halo 2/3 maps I don’t care as long as its the classics!
I really miss me some Sidewinder, I’d love to see Death Island return as well. Excellent vehicular combat map!
