So I remember during around late 2011 where for the first time I saw some gameplay footage of Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary and it looked awesome. I honestly really wanted this game and getting this game during Christmas 2011 was such a wish come true. I was just so excited to play this more than any Halo since it was going to be my first time actually playing the original Halo since I’m relatively new to the Halo franchise since Halo: Reach was my first Halo (shooter) game when I first played it in 2011 (I also played some Halo Wars a few years before Reach). When I loaded up the game and actually saw the game on my 45 inch TV, it looked stunning to me (the new engine). The colours, effects, lighting, and the revamped sounds and soundtrack were amazing. I had a lot of fun playing the campaign and the new firefight level created based on one of the campaign levels. Overall this game showed me (as being a newer fan to the series) how Halo got so popular and how it was one of the most influential games of it’s time and why Halo is still here today. The Halo franchise in my opinion is probably the best FPS series of video games I’ve ever played and I can’t wait for the rumoured Halo 2 Anniversary that may or may not be released later this year. Halo for the win!
I totally agree with you, the only thing I really want them to do… is to bring back Havok as the main engine, let’s be honest… Saber3D wasn’t the best engine ever… it had a lot of bugs, the rendering was slow and it felt like “cr@ppy plastic”… Havok allways felt more military, metallic…
Also, I hope that the collision models change with the graphics mode, so that if you are in remastered mode, the collision is the same as the rendered model, unlike halo cea (where you sometimes had to change the mode to be precise in the headshots/collision of the level)

I kind of agree. The Sabre engine isn’t perfect and I did notice some glitches and the framerate was unstable.
