Well, since [starting the whole LASO thing in 2007] (actually a while before that, starting with H2), I’ve been feeling sads that I couldn’t do the same with Halo 1.
Now, with the happy inclusion of 14 Skulls (including the pre-order exlusive) in this remake, I can do just that!
So far, I’ve found that you’re more likely to die by your own hands than by an ememies’.
So, yeah, I’ll be working on these over the next few weeks and months. Compared to the other Halo games, this one is actually really easy on LASO. Bandana Skull is my bro <3
I’ve done PoA and Halo so far, but I’ll probably be re-doing them cus I did Halo immediately after PoA and had a couple of deaths on PoA in the recording.
Doesn’t seem very hard so far really. I think All Gold Skulls will be a better challenge, but saying that, I think Foreign is a really BS skull and makes a lot of levels pretty ridiculous since you’ll only have 2 weapons, ever.
y tank u, sir. I’m from Scotland. Though, my accent seems to have been watered down from spending so much time on the intertubes.

Nice job. I’m going to be doing Halo pretty soon too. It’s always been the hardest level for me, but with my 'nades, I’ll be fine, I guess.

Yeah, I’m finding that if I die, it’s my own fault. Once I’ve done the classic LASO runs, I’m tempted to do Legendary All Hard Skulls On (LAHSO) just for good measure. Which will basically narrow down to “if it gives you an advantage, let’s not go there”.

I think that will be the same as All Gold Skulls. Bandanna, Boom, Pinata and Grunt Birthday party are all Silver according to this page.
I think I’ll try it without Foreign though first - that’ll be easier.

Any tips for the bridge descent? I tried yesterday and only made it once

Heh, figures. If you’re willing, another perspective would be great (most of Rockslider’s methods on BadCyborg are PAL only ), but I’ll just as happily wait until you show off the whole run.

Funny story about that. I kinda had no idea where I was going, at a certain part. So I spent a good 8 minutes looking for where I had to go. May re-run to be able to upload a cleaner run. I’m kinda reluctant to show off this run. It is really bad.

Foreign would be great if it only affected the weapons (or just the plasma pistol). By depriving players of plasma grenades, turning on Foreign kills the original campaign experience and necessitates Bandanna skull when certain hard skulls are on.
How did Chief get so far? Because he had plasma grenades. That frag grenade he had in his hand in The Maw cutscene doesn’t do frags justice. 99% of the time in campaign, a plasma grenade saved my -Yoink-.
