Has it been stated anywhere that there will be Halo CEA DLC in the future? If soo, what do you guys hope it will contain? for me, Sidewinder remake, Blood Gulch Remake, Death Island Remake, Rat Race Remake, Boarding Action Remake, or another Lockout Remake, but i doubt any of this will come true. How could 343i even call Halo CEA halo combat evolved without a remake of Blood Gulch???

yeah ! like they had Cold Storage in Halo 3 ! hopefully, only time, or Frank O’Connor can really tell lmao. But i am really hopping for a Blood Gulch Remake. to me, Halo 1 isn’t halo 1 without blood gulch. i don’t want the Halo Reach one,i want the orange-ish dirt ridden, wide open map that ALL of us TRUE halo fans love. apparently its been stated that they don’t want to remake maps that have already been updated on x box live, but i find that ridiculous. This is a game for the FANS (apparently). they should release a poll of every halo 1+halo 2 map ever made and have the FANNNS vote on 3 or 4 maps that they would want to see the most be updated and released as a DLC for CEA

not so much new. They doo really need to make original maps though. How do they expect to get the OG Halo players back? Me and my 4 cousins were Halo CE crazy. they stopped playing after halo 2, why? because the multiplayer/custom games just didnt feel like Halo. To me i didnt agree until Halo ODST and Reach came out. Kiki Wolfkill said in a vidoc that HaloCE was the quintessential halo. i agree, but to me and MOST HARDCORE HALO FANS, Blood Gulch was the quintessential Halo map. 343i isnt bringing back many OG halo fans for that reason, guarenteed

well i think that there is no problem in adopting the h3 and odst maps to reach since the engine is quite the same. but they wont do it for sure ;(
remake of the h2 maps? maybe with h2 anniversary. well…it depends on the impact of halo CEA^^
my 3 big maps i really want remade the most are Turf (halo 2), sidewinder and BLOOD GULCH (halo 1)

MySn1p3GeTsHeAD I totally agree I want blood gulch and sidewinder. I want original weapons and also reach setup to be available. They should let you make anything. Like Firefight on Blood Gulch and Sidewinder where you can mod anything. If it was a game for the fans it would allow us this stuff. We got Hang em’ High from the original with others but I want them all. I don’t care if they are extra DLC just allow the fans to have their childhood memories back. I was 15 at that time and it takes me back to a better time. I want Better Times!!!
I don’t think any more DLC is coming out for Reach (and by extension, Anniversary). Maaaybe another pack six months before Halo 4 launches, but that’s a big maybe. Reach has been out for a long time, and I’m sure 343 wants to focus on Halo 4 instead of still propping up Reach.
They have stated multiple times that they don’t want to remake any maps that are already on the Xbox 360 in any Halo game. So that means no Sidewinder (Avalanche H3,) Blood Gulch (Valhalla/Standoff H3 / Hemorrhage HR,) or Lockout (Blackout H3.) I would, however, like to see Death Island and Rat Race. Boarding Action, not so much.
If we see another remake of BloodGulch I’ll disown Halo.
Honestly, why do people keep asking for a Blood Gulch remake?
Im down for new maps, just been playin custom games with friends on headlong anniversary. Brings back so much H2 memories :), it being my favorite map from Halo 2.
Blood Gulch is in Halo Reach… You already know this as does everyone else. Anyone that complains for a remake of it are words that I can’t say because it will result in a ban.
I just hope they have at least two more map packs release before Halo 4 comes out!
