I think that some of the new maps should have all the forge pieces that Forge World has since there has yet to be a canvas map that does this. All we have in reach is Forge World and Tempest which basically have the same skybox. If it was possible to used forge world pieces on say Sidewinder, for example, a lot of awesome maps could be created with entirely different background aesthetics, which has been sorely needed for Forge for months now
CEA probably won’t even have forge due to the fact that it is just basically all campaign and some multiplayer. Just like ODST.
Forging on new environments would give a lot more incentive to buy the game. As of now, I don’t really think its worth the buy.

Halo reach matchmaking, halo reach forge… And Odst came with halo 3 mp with new maps so…
Fact: You can forge on the 6 Halo CE: Anniversary multiplayer maps. The questionable thing at the moment is the palette within the maps.
I really hope they add some new covie forge peices (Fishka seems to do a great job with them), enough to make new maps with the complexity of Forge World.
I really hope that they add a big forge palette like forge world or tempest so that they make Anniversary worth the money. Flood in firefight and a big forge palette would make the game worth $40. That sounds logical because you can buy CE for $5. Remastered graphics shouldn’t really add too much value. Then the 7 maps should only add about a
$15-$20 value. But if there’s something special about the maps like big forge or flood, then it’s worth the money.
there will be forge because they said future halo titles will have forge now halo cea is not just a remake with better graphics its an improvement to halo ce of what it would be like in the future and the future halo games has forge so it does
Fix the wall collesiem glitch. It gets annoying!

Forgot to add this FACT: You will be able to download CEA maps via Halo Reach, then be able to forge them in reach.
The only reason I’d want a new forging space is because Forge World is very selfish to Bungie; all the buildings and a lot of the decorative items are used for remakes. The layout and forgable areas, aside from Alaska, Montana, and the Island are for Bungie remakes. I just have a feeling they made the map more for themselves, as opposed for the community, it should have stayed as 5 separate maps.
With that being said, we could only hope that 343 included a forging palette suitable for creating various structures. It is unlikely they would create a new map, but decent structural objects is possible.
there is no sidewinder the maps are damnation, beaver creek, prisoner, hang em high, headlong, timberlands, and installation 04 and 343 confirmed forge for anniversary
> there is no sidewinder the maps are damnation, beaver creek, prisoner, hang em high, headlong, timberlands, and installation 04 and 343 confirmed forge for anniversary
hang em High should be replaced with sand trap!
i only hope that timberland or another big outside map have forgeworld pallets, though if timberland is a forgeworld map, those trees better be forge pieces.
I really hope there’s not hard coded killzones all over the place. (looking at you highlands)

It’s been confirmed the entire suite of Reach multiplayer tools, Custom games, Matchmaking, Forge, etc. are available on the Anniversary disk. Thats how they created the new versions of the maps, with the original layout as well, they used Forge.

It’s better as one big map, lets you use the areas more creatively.
