I like to use the Needler on the SpecOps Elites in the dining hall on the way to the bridge, but they’re ninjas with those plasma grenades, so be careful. Also, just rushing them with the shotgun works, but it may take a few tries. Take out the fuel rod Grunts from a distance with the magnum or needler first.
Engineering is tricky at the end. Just try to stay on the top level the entire time. You can trick jump your way up a little bit to skip that upwards corridor of Flood to the top level. Look for the red and yellow cylindrical things next to one of the shafts on the midlevel on your way up, crouch jump on them then onto the shaft. Ignore the Sentinels. Take a shotgun and rockets. Save the two of the shaft/vent/thingy-doo-dads you gotta blow up on the side by the exit for last. When you destroy one, crouch jump back up by the panel where you activated the shaft/vent thingy, then hide the side doors until the Sentinels leave/get killed by Flood. Run out, pop the flood guys with the shotgun, hit each vent, jump back up, run back into the side passage to recharge and wait out the Sentinels.
If they’re being stubborn, grab a Plasma Pistol, charge it up, pop out from the door, and knock them out that way one-by-one. Plasma Rifle also works well against them. The Warthog run is essentially the same except you take more damage, so just mind the Sentinel beams. Don’t slow down around them.
I like to take it slow, use the Plasma pistol to take out elites shields then finish them with a pistol headshot, or spam the pistol at the elite and use the shotgun on the flood, when you get to the reactor room there is a armory if you continue past the door way that enters it, there will be a rocket launcher and shotgun ammo in there. when you get to the warthog drive, there is no real strategy for me i just drive and not run into anything
