Playing stage 8 Two Betrayals on Halo CE console is shutting down at same point in the level, i have hard rebooted console, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, started the level from the beginning to over rite the save data, delted save data and resynced with the cloud but the same problem every time, running out of options 
sorry to hear that. maybe try it after the reach update on December 3rd
Try switch to old graphics while playing that segment. It might work.
