With the 20th anniversary of halo ce that’s coming up next year i think maybe 343 should re-remaster halo ce but use the og Xbox as the base or even just rebuild the anniversary over the og Xbox version because of all the issues with the gearbox port but anyway I just thought I’d share my opinion on this if it doesn’t happen (which it probably won’t) I understand
Cool idea, but I think 343 should focus on remastering Halo 3 before they go back to CE again.
Halo: Combat Evolved doesn’t need another remaster. 343i already have a team working on Halo: The Master Chief Collection and have everybody else (aside from a small team who are monitoring Halo 5: Guardians) working on Halo: Infinite. They are pretty much stretched thin enough as it is.
Won’t happen for a long time. Halo 3 will get remastered before anything, I would guess.
They just released it again a few months ago. No one cared. The game is completley broken? Yes. Every of those CE players that keep using the original xbox deserve a modern rendition? Yes, but at this point only a fan making something like “Halo Despecialized Edition” could save the game.
I don’t think it’s going to happen, but if they did do it then it would be pretty cool to have all the cutscenes like movies like how they did in H2A and not just use the same assets from Halo: Reach and Halo 3.
