The halo CE in my opinion looks severely under detailed and very cartoony. The halo CE pistol on halo one looked more realistic than the one in halo 5. Check it out in forge

The pistol was made to look like that its an exact remake of the actual ce pistol
Based off of what I’ve seen so far browsing the forums, it looks horrible…
The original silver gloss, the way/angle your character held it in first person… it’s not even close to looking the same. Kinda weak… and they got the H2 BR right, why not the CE pistol?

1, the pistol looks the same, that is nostalgia googles blinding you. 2 because, there is only one social playlist per week(not including btb), assault took priory this week, fiesta slayer can only be played in custom games at the moment. maybe next week it will be the social playlist but who knows
Sprint a long time ago talked about how they were going to make it exactly like it was in CE. not anniversary. It is the OG of the OG
god you guys are annoying, they stated way before when it was being created it was going to look exactly as it did before, which means the polygons on the model are a fraction of what they would be on a current weapon. Less polygons = less pretty

Except it doesn’t look “exactly like it was in CE…”
It might sound overly picky, but I’m a designer myself and it’s in the little details… when they’re not right, it drives me nuts.
