So, recently I was just browsing around Youtube when I came across a video called “GTA San Andreas on the iPhone 5S with a PS3 controller”. Apparently, GTA SA has already come out for the iPhone. I immediately thought about Halo CE, and I did a bit of research.
San Andreas came out in 2005 for the Xbox. Halo CE, as many of you know, came out in 2001. That means, there’s a four year difference in the games.
So, whats stopping 343 industries from potentially making Halo CE on the iPhone, Windows Phone, Surface etc. ?
On http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829479 . It says the minimum system RAM for Halo CE is 128 MB. My (Extremely cheap) Nokia Lumia 520 has four times the minimum system RAM requirement. Imagine what a better phone would have
I don’t really know much about graphics or anything, but is there anything else stopping 343 industries from making the game Mobile?
To make it even better, the Surface has Xbox controller support.
So, who thinks that this would be possibly/would like to use it?

Hold on, are you saying that it shouldnt be moved to other platforms? Imagine how amazing it’d be if you were in the backseat with a friend and you two could 1v1 on Hang Em High. I mean, it’s been over 10 years since it came out. Either you can play the game on a console, restricted to your home. Or, it’d be even better to have it mobile. If not, then at least move it into the windows store so that it’d be easy to buy and would have a designated windows app
This sounds like a great idea! I’m still enjoying CE to this day, and the thought of playing it on a device you can shove in your pocket is spectacular.

Isn’t it? And the best part is, this can actually be a reality.
I don’t know if I would personally get it. Would be cool, but wouldn’t really appeal to me. If I wanted to desperately play it I have the PC version, original Xbox version, Xbox 360 Anniversary version and the Xbox One MCC version.

I don’t want it to be ruined by touch controls is all.

No he is saying it shouldn’t get a crappy port to phones. Treat a epic franchise with epic proportions of respect.
