Just like the original Halo on PC, I literally just want to be able to jump into a clan’s dedicated server or create a public CTF game with Heavies. I have no idea what the hell you’re trying to accomplish with this new Halo, but I’m very unimpressed. I just downloaded Halo Combat Evolved in the MCC set and when trying to join a social game, as it’s apparently called (which is a joke to me), I can select Halo CE, and I want an 8v8 Heavies game, but it won’t even start. Much less, what the heck is a heavies game? I get it, heavy weapons, but what about the actual game type? Is that CTF? Slayer? Oddball? KOTH?
Also what irks me, and I found this in Halo Reach as well, is when I try to create a custom game, why can’t I invite anyone currently playing the game? Why do I have to specify a player name, or why do I have to invite only specific players on my friends list? Why can’t I just make the game public to all players and call it a day? Furthermore, I miss the old server browser on the original Halo PC.
This whole thing about Social Games, Competitive Games is such a joke.

What? I’m not even sure what you mean by that. All you’ve confirmed is that you’re in a confirmation bias my friend. Be gone with you.
If they’re actually working on a server browser then, hell…someone give me a call next year when it’s probably gonna be finished. This game is a joke. Why the hell did they even introduce achievements into this game, anyways? I just want simplicity. If I want to deal with that garbage, I’ll go and play a CoD or Battlefield game.
