Hey guys, I follow this guy LateNightGaming on YouTube and thought I’d take the liberty in showing the community this video he posted. It’s basically a Mod for Halo CE with added maps, weapons, Spartan abilities, from all halo games with the idea of making an Ultimate Halo. I just wanted this to get enough buzz to where 343i maybe would see it. I think a lot of these weapons and enemies are really dope and should be in Halo 6. Maybe if they could hire this guy then Halo 6 would be even better than 5. This I believe is what we want from a Halo Campaign. This is just truely amazing. Mind blown by it. Yes there can be improvements in sprint but yes it is better than any halo game made by 343. Hey, 343 if you are listening then refer to this mod and employee the guys behind it… its just the best team… anr OP thanks for bringing this up man.

Damn I want to play this so bad. Is there a real easy way of getting this up and running ? I have tried a while back but I’m not much of a PC guy and just couldn’t get it working. CE is still my favourite Halo game and this just looks insane.
Going to have to try and get this working again, can you play this with an Xbox One pad though ?
Dunno how you tried to get it working when it’s not even out yet.
Usually you have to open these maps through a console command. But if you download a custom UI you can have a single-player option in-game. So I’d do that then replace the default campaign maps with these maps in their folder location (when the mod is released that is).
It also only works with Halo Custom Edition. Won’t work with default Halo PC.
Halo PC has Controller support but it’s really -Yoink-. If you insist on using a controller you’re going to want to get a third party software like xpadder.
What the ? Well I guess that explains why it wasn’t working then if it’s not even released yet. Did they not release like a single level or something? I could have sworn I was trying to get it up and running ages ago.
Yeah they’ve released a few non-spv3 levels in the past. The most recent ones are SPV3 Truth and Reconcilation and The Silent Cartographer Evolved.
I’m not sure why that TaR is called SPV3 though when the full release is going to include a further updated version with the same name. Just know that it’s out of date.
This forum topic is in reference to CMT’s work. Open Sauce is a community-developed hack (modification) for Halo Custom Edition that adds features which certain maps are designed to use, and they are compiled into .yelo files instead of .map files. So you would need Open Sauce to run these CMT maps.
