So I just bought the classic helmets Req pack at long last (it is still available to buy with money through the microsoft store). I equipped the Mark V Delta helmet (and my goodness is it beautiful), as I love the classic Mark V armour and want to go for that look. However, I am wondering what the best chest piece for it would be? I equipped the Mark V Alpha chest piece, as that is the closest to the original, but was wondering if there is another similar looking chestpiece that looks closer to Halo CE? Also, what colours (i.e. shades of green, etc.) would you guys recommend for the armour, and what visor to get that Mark V Master Chief look in Halo 5? Thanks in advance guys 
Unfortunately, there isn’t another armor set with what you’re looking for. If they were to bring back the Mark V armor from Halo 4’s Championship DLC Bundle, that would fit pretty well, but for some reason they chose to give us Mark V Alpha instead… and I still can’t help but wonder, “what were they thinking!?!”.
You could probably go with the Mark VI armor. The Hermes and Centurion looks pretty good with the helmet too (like what I’m wearing :)). I personally think the armor (or at least the chest piece) has some pretty good similarities, depending on how you look at it.
But, I think I’ll leave it up to you.

This. I thought I was the only who felt this way… I would much rather they used the Halo: CE Anniversary textures over the low-poly textures of the original. It’s kind of like what they did with Mark V Alpha, shaping it to look like the low-poly armor from the original release when I think people would’ve been more appreciative if they’d just used the Mark V armor from Halo 4’s Championship DLC- or better yet- Halo: CE Anniversary.

Halo 4’s MK V is about all Halo 4 got right, IMO. But it was done extremely well.
As for the CE:A model/textures, they really are just the Halo 3 ones, but they would be very nice to have.

I can never wrap my head around it, that is their best take on updating a beloved classic (I’ll even say more impressive than CEA’s), and then they throw it out the window and slide in that trash called “Alpha!” I mean how difficult (or how less) could it have been to just take it from their previous game!

Yeah Halo 4 Mark V was pretty sick, I remember I used to use that helmet on my custom Spartan back in H4

I also really like the look of the Mark V helmet with Intruder Trespasser (Kat’s armor).
If you’re going for CEA look (super bright, almost yellowish) use “Daybreak” visor. If you’re going for classic CE, use Dynasty, but you can never go wrong with Legendary.
That’s how my Spartan looks to, I have the Mark V as my chest.
