This brings back memories of when i practiced the bridge fall on Assault on the Control Room.

I don’t remember the exact number but it was at least 20 attempts before I managed to nail second landing. Since then, the setup has seen multiple iterations of improvements which has meant that I have successfully finished few bridge falls after the first attempt.

After a bit of practice, I have also managed to get a total of 4 successful bridge fall since my last comment. I would say that the success rate was at least 30% after I managed to get the first successful bridge fall for the day.

It’s a trick definitely worth learning as it makes the mission much easier and shorter compared to what it would otherwise be. However, benefit for performing this glitch in absolute terms isn’t that big as there exists few other strategies which makes the mission surprisingly easy.

Yup! If you use deathlessplayer and set the game speed to 10, you’ll be able to finish the mission REALLY quickly by jumping around

This depends on what you define as quickly. If you define the term quickly as in game time required for completing the mission, then it’s preferable if the game runs at a lower tick rate in order to give more time for the player to optimize the movement.
This one takes me back to my elementary school days.
