You can obtain this Achievement by playing the level “Assault on the Control Room” on Halo Combat Evolved and by either finding it at the start of the level OR by going to the main location near the end of the level by getting a Banshee and flying up to it. The music plays, but no achievement. Just to double/triple check, I went around killing EVERY enemy in the area and even went down the path where you have to go when you were unable to get a banshee and instead have to walk and still - no achievement. Doesn’t matter the difficulty, skulls you have on or even the platform - it just will not unlock. I play both on Steam AND on Xbox and it makes no difference. My brother who ONLY plays it on Xbox also cant get it.
I tried to get this achievement with a completely different and NEW profile and the achievement is STILL not unlocking - I am starting to think that this might be due to the recent season 7 update that was released that had some updates for Halo CE (Combat Evolved). This is further supported on any YouTube video you check for this achievement and then checking the most recent comments for them, with countless people saying that they could not get it (YT Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFK5RPmAEcI - AND - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-b96AhVJk8). I also searched up the guide for this achievement on truachievements.com and it also has a person who recently posted saying that they couldn’t get the achievement to appear. It definitely feels that this achievement is broken and isn’t just me having this issue (I have been trying to tell people to report this issue on here/Halo support).
I am trying to get EVERY achievement for Halo MCC before Halo Infinite comes out (currently at 673/700 achievements) and this is the ONLY one that has been impossible to get.
