Iv’e just beaten the HALO CE LASO playlist with a friend in co op and I didn’t get the achievement. He was hosting and he did get the achievement but I didn’t. My in game progress reads 10 of 10 missions complete and 1 of 8 playlists complete. This is really unacceptable considering how difficult this was and it needs to be fixed. Iv’e read posts on other gaming website forums reporting the same issue so I’m not the only one.
I have the same problem with the Halo CE LASO, Halo CE legendary and Halo 2 Legendary Playlists. I Played them in co-op with a friend but have no progress towards the playlist achievements as well as no CE LASO achievement, yet the playlist mission progress is 10 of 10 and 15 of 15.
FML. I read of people not getting the achievement if they didn’t host the game and now I’m stuck with a 10/10 completion and no achievement for the LASO playlist.
Just spent over 13 hours, post patch, running through LASO on CE with a friend. He’s stuck with the same 10/10 complete for LASO, 1/8 playlists complete for CE, and no achievements for the playlist or LASO or the nameplate. I was the host the whole time and everything unlocked just fine for me.
After thinking about it, does it really matter? you gonna get it anyway after the MP is working right.

exact same thing happened to me
Still no mention of this being fixed or even any acknowledgement of the problem to speak of. I’m sure this bug affects all playlists in the game when played coop over xbox live not just the LASO playlists.
Mine’s a little different, but the same aftermath.I beat all of the Halo 2 par scores solo, the in-game achievement list says 13/13, but on the Xbox1 achievement app, the achievement for beating all par scores (“Arcade Owner”) is still locked and does not say ‘Done!..Unlocking’ yet I have each individual par score level achievement. I even re-did 3 missions, the prologue a, no skipping cut scenes, did a hard reset, nothing! Can’t imagine how frustrated you guys must be!!!
