A friend and I completed the HALO CE LASO Playlist a few weeks ago, prior to the patch that added Iron to it. I hosted every time and neither of us were awarded the achievement. I have seen other players with the issue where the host would get it but not their partner, and the potential fix of playing The Maw as host with a guest account or solo, but that is not an option as I can’t level select. The game says I completed 10/10 when I look at the playlist, so it knows I completed it. It also says I have 3/8 playlists done for CE but I did not unlock that achievement either. Is this something that is well known and being worked on? Should I continue to wait and hopefully will be awarded these two achievements eventually? Or will I have to redo the playlist and hope it pops?
No word on this yet from any source, guess I shouldn’t be surprised… Anyway, forgot to mention that we both were awarded the achievements for beating CE on Heroic and Legendary, so there’s that… Please fix this game.
I had similar issues with campaign on solo legendary runs but no Laso, you could try turning on competitive score since that seemed to fix it for me.

Well I’m glad you found a fix for your issue but that really doesn’t work for me. Because you can’t replay levels or anything like that I would have to start it all over again, and it took 2-3 hours per each of the ten levels, and that was before Iron was on. And, of course, because the game even says I completed the playlist 10/10 and playlists for CE 3/8 without the achievements, it’s on 343 to fix this. Or at least comment in some way letting me know I’m SoL and will have to complete this arduous task again. But then I would need assurance that I would actually gain the achievement for completing it, unlike what has happened so far.
Latest update…nothing has changed.
Please 343, just set it to check if the game registers things like LASO playlist being complete, pop achievement, have 1 or 3 playlists complete, pop the corresponding achievement for the corresponding section (Halo: CE, 2, 3, 4, Cross-Game Playlist).
I’ve been playing the Master Chief Saga Playlist with the same guy I played LASO with, and are up to Halo 3 now, been mopping up the collectibles and misc achievements as we go. And we are planning to, once we get to the last level of Halo 4, go ahead and play solo or with a second controller, just to make sure that we are hosting. Is this necessary? Will it ensure we actually get the achievement? I have no idea. I know that to the layman it would probably seem obvious that completing the playlists co-op shouldn’t affect the achievement, especially if the game itself says it is complete, but I can’t feel like I can trust this Collection to work in such a way.
Please fix these things.

Damn, that sucks. You’re sure you did all levels on Legendary and they counted? You can check by going to Career, Leaderboards, and checking each level of Halo 2 on Legendary. I got the Goatrope achievement for the Halo:CE Legendary Speedrun fine myself, and I thought the patches said they were supposed to check at the main menu for those or something, but I guess I’m a fool for believing the patch notes…

Yup. I finally got the Lone Wolf achievement from just going to the Halo 4 missions in the main menu (and the game couldn’t check by itself??)
