When I played the Combat Evolved Anniversary for the Master Chief Collection, I had completely forgotten how powerful the weapons were in that game. A quote that was mentioned from an old friend of mine a long time ago called the CE weapons, “What god would use to kill somebody,” and I could not agree more.
Plasma rifle, shotgun, and pistol is all I ever used.

I used them all. Any one of them could cause some serious damage.
I have often referred to the Halo CE pistol as the “God Pistol.”
There was a machinima where Chief was facing off a league of soldiers hunting him where he was spamming death everywhere with the CE pistol.

Although, the sniper rifle did absolutely nothing against the Flood.

The shotgun in CE is the only one I’d use in campaign on high difficulties. After using that then picking up the other shottys in the other campaigns… Well, talk about disappointment. I’ve heard that Halo 5 is going to have a legendary shotgun, let’s hope it works much liek CE’s shotgun.

The new shotgun looks horrific though.
Great weapons, even the needler is boss.
