For the third time I have lost hours of progress after playing HCE, selecting save and quit, then when I return to the menu my “resume campaign” option shows two levels before my actual progress. I was midway through “The Maw” chapter 10 when I saved last night and it returned me to “Two Betrayals” chapter 8. My progress is gone, but I have the achievements. It won’t let me load chapter ten in the chapter select menu either. Spent an hour on chat with xbox support this morning deleting my profile from my console and clearing my cache to try to fix the problem. After all that, it still showed my “resume” spot as chapter 8, but I was able to select chapter 10 from the chapter select menu and it now shows I have completed 9/10 chapters. I lost all progress in chapter 10, but at least I can start at that chapter and not play through the two previous chapters again. Like I said, this is the third time it has happened. Really frustrating. Wonder if 343 is aware of the issue. Xbox support said it was not an issue with my profile or console, rather with the game’s servers.
I’m having the SAME problem. About to bail on this game. Have you found any new info??
