Halo: CE feeling JITTERY?

Hey Everyone!

343 made additional improvements to Halo: CE fall damage scenarios, however, I noticed post update that Halo: CE now feels “JITTERY” in both campaign and customs when trying to crouch mid-air, ala Ghandi hop.

Does anyone else notice this?

I have noticed this occasionally too, in campaign when there is a large amount of AI, transitions between crouching and also landing from heights can be jittery. I have played custom games at all though sorry.

That’s 343 for you. I never experienced any disconnection issues in The Two Betrayal before the update, now it’s completely unplayable. Can’t make it through the level without getting disconnected. Superly annoying.

Please bump for the greater good of Halo: CE! Let’s please keep this thread only for JITTERY BUG syndrome but I too have experienced some disconnection issues.

Tested this is both CUSTOMS and CAMPAIGN. I also confirmed that its not just while jumping but CROUCHING in general. Also, this does not affect other player animations, only the player who is crouching sees the JITTERYNESS animation…

Jump off of a ledge where you die before even hitting the ground. When the camera pans out of your body and you see Master Chief flailing his arms, the animation is bugged now. It looks like the position your character is being drawn is alternating between 2 locations for ever frame. The end result is that you see 2 transparent MC’s falling a few feet above and below one another.

I first saw this on Truth and Reconciliation by turning around and jumping off the cliff at the start of the level.

Yep. Started seeing this right after the 12/7 patch. Doing Assualt on the control room mission and kept falling off ledge (trying speed run glitch) and saw the bugged/teleporting animation every time I fell to my death. That never happened before the last patch.

Ok, I went to record this but noticed that on my stream it did not show this behavior. I’m assuming that it is only seen at 60 FPS. I will try to record some footage tomorrow… :frowning:

After 12/7/14 patch, I am experiencing the same exact problems with the campaign as well.
Not to mention, when you start Two Betrayals, you’ll now see flickering shadows on the shotgun.

Halo 2 Anniversary campaign also has some new (worse) bugs… It’s ridiculous, man…

I really hope this is fixed in the next patch. I know there are worse issues, but it is annoying.
