So I’m playing Master Chief Collection and the campaign for Halo: CE. I’ve noticed the game play during the campaign is WAY sped up. As in myself and all the AI enemies are moving at 1.5 to twice as fast as they should be on the screen. Anyone else have this problem? And most importantly, is there any solution? It changes the gameplay dynamics entirely and you get mowed down a lot faster. Any thoughts or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I’d like to see a video of that. I haven’t heard of anything like it.
Hrm… Interesting. I’m not sure what could be causing that, but could you record a video (Via the Xbox record feature) and then link that here. I can only assume it’s lagg, but I’m not sure. Is it only happening in CE? If so, perhaps hard reset (Hold the power button down until it completely shuts off) your Xbox, and if it’s a physical copy of the game reinsert it into the disc drive. If none of this works… I’m sorry, you might have to reinstall. It could be the game is reading the data improperly, and that could be causing this issue, but before doing that I’d perhaps call support.
So I did the hard reset, then took the physical disk out and put it back in. That seemed to do the trick, because it’s now playing at regular speed on CE again. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully it doesn’t pop up again.
Hey I have the same problem.
Except I’m playing Halo 2
Tried the hard reset and taking out the disk, even restarted the level.
Still too fast.
