It’s pretty embarassing that a studio would release a game in this state. At the moment, me and my friend have a 5% success rate for starting a co-op campaign mission over online. Did nobody test this? Does a triple-A studio lack the resources to solve this problem? Are you all just incompetent?
Nauseating that just “joining a friend” is broken when “joining a friend” is the backbone of -Yoinking!- halo.

Not having your issue. Based on the lack of threads about this it’s a “YOU” issue
I played through the entire campaign with a friend over 3 days. He lives in Australia and I live in SEAsia so it’s not like it was a fantastic connection either.
Only once did we get the “waiting for player” dropout bug at the end of Truth and Reconciliation. Might want to look at your setup. Try inviting your friend through the ingame xbox thing rather than steam.

The connection works fine for the reach campaign, and all other games.
I’ve tried all the solutions online. We’ve tried doing everything. It’s just an odds game, 5% of the time, it works.
I don’t want to waste 30 minutes waiting for the one time it works. It’s broken, not my setup, and two people saying “it worked for me” does not a fix make.
