My question is me and my friend are doing split screen co op and whenever we finish Matchmaking: Anniversary Firefight it skips the screen where it shows the credits I earned for me to see how much closer I am to ranking up… I know my friend who is signed on as Guest can’t rank up… But am I still getting the credits or is my rank up also on pause?
I would suggest making a note of how many credits you have before you start your game and compare it to what you have after, when you exit the match to check.
That’s because you’re playing splitscreen. It also happens in Halo 4. Now why it happens I don’t know.
Also I think you want to mention Halo: Reach. CE Anniversary comes with the Anniversary map pack for it, instead of the full game. All maps are remasters from Halo Combat Evolved. If you have Halo: Reach, you can insert the code that comes with CE Anniversary. It will give you Anniversary map pack for free, nothing else. But hey, at least it’s better than having to switch th games just to play on that map over and over again.
You are still earning the credits, but as others have said, that screen is skipped in splitscreen.

Offline is difficult to earn credits. The easiest way to earn credits is by playing online. SWAT and Anniversary Slayer are the two playlists my girlfriend and I played all the time when we were grinding out our path to the rank of Inheritor. The games were quick and the credit payout was pretty high

Best thing to do would be to buy him XBL then so it’s not an issue
