I think Halo is one of the best games on the xbox 360 however from viewing the videos that have been supplied on the halo anniversary website i have to say i am very disappointed. i was expecting something more amazing, in my opinion the graphics seemed to be a little lacking and to me it looked to be on par with those of halo 3 and no where near as satisfying as halo reach. i know that it was still in its bata stages when the videos was released at E3. if the supplied images are anything to go by the game is sure to be an impressive revamp of an awesome title so i look forward to the improved game graphics upon release.
What ? Are you drunk or something ? On par with Halo 3… Did you play Halo 3 recently ? It’s pretty horrible compare to Reach/CEA.

If you are refering to the trailer that announce CEA, you should know that the model was just a placeholder and it is not the final version.
Frankie said in an interview that the helmet in the trailer is not the helmet in the game. They have changed it they just didn’t have time to put it in the trailer.

Well now I know, I was wondering why it didn’t show plasma firing from it.
As i stated in my post, i know it was a video beta of the game to show what they had planned for the final product but if what was shown in the anniversary trailer is the final graphical results for the game then in my OPINION they have not bought halo combat evolved to the current level of graphics that we saw in Halo Reach they have instead gone back a few years in graphical terms

to take a quote out of context ‘‘sure to be an impressive revamp of an awesome title’’ and i think that it has equal to or greater graphics than reach and that only i few bits need to be fixed.
Videos are from when the game was in pre-alpha because it was the most stable build of the game. They are not the final graphics.

Wow…just…wow.
In almost every video we’ve seen, a lot of the assets are placeholders using Reach assets (marines, dropships, weapons), and you’re saying that it overall looks worse than Halo Reach or on-par with Halo 3? Have you the brain worms?
CEA is, especially for a 360 title, amazingly beautiful.

You don’t get Battlefield 3 for the console. It may have a console version, but if you really want to appreciate the beauty of that game, you have to get it for the PC.

OP hasn’t seen the OXM Anniversary screens…they look much better than the E3 trailer
its because its just using the reach environment textures (including characters) and not the reach engine, i still think graphically the textures look a lot better then Reach’s textures even though they’re exactly that same because reach has some sort of motion blur and its really exagerated and it’s terrible so not everything can be seen clearly unlike Halo Anniversary.

Any chance of a link? I can’t find them.
I think why you might say the graphics don’t look as good is because Halo CE is a lot less darker than Reach and some might say (I say it’s the art style) cartoony. It for sure looks a lot less realistic but still fantastic graphics nonetheless.
