Halo CE.5, 2.5, 3.5, or Reach.5?

I’m tired of all the people saying go back to this game and this game. Really? After playing Halo this long, do you really think their going to make an exact copy of an older game? 343i knows what their doing and I’m pretty sure their going to dish out a new Halo experience. Not like CE, not like 2 or 3 or Reach. Please have some faith in 343i because they understand what make Halo Halo better than most people here.

If you’re tired go to sleep.

> If you’re tired go to sleep.

Is that the best you can do?

No one’s asking for that, and you know it. Bringing the “Halo 1.5/2.5/3.5/Reach.5” card is just being silly and childish, I’m sure you know that too.

While true I don’t think they should disregard the past games entirely. In order to march forward we must pick the gems from Halo: CE/2/3 and implement then while trying to maintain the whole ‘new trilogy’ feel to it.

They can do what they want in Campaign but for MM I think they should go back to the roots and build up from there.

Making Halo, Halo would be making it like CE, 2 and 3.

Yes of course. I don’t mind little things. Halo games have always kept the core gameplay the same. I’m just talking about new things like AA’s, equipment, and dual wielding.

Agreed.

It’s like saying that Halo 2 = Halo CE.5.

Halo 2 was different from Halo CE in many many ways, but it felt strongly like Halo; that doesn’t make it Halo CE.5.

Reach feels rather like shadowrun and some other game many here hate (no offence fanboys).

I hope they make a Halo 4 a Halo game, and I also hope that if they do that, pleople don’t call it X Halo Game .5.

Sooooo… You want it to be like Halo, but not be like any Halo game? Makes sense… oh wait, it doesn’t.

I’m not talking about the core gameplay. I’m talking about things like weapons, abilities and some of the original settings.

Weapons and settings are the core gameplay, among other things.

I knew some most of you wouldn’t understand. Oh well.

We’re not asking for a copy. We’re asking for combinitions of the trillogy.
Things like CE’s balence, Halo 2 duel weilding, and Halo 3’s equipment are things we want, not copys of them.

343 put no theater or multiplayer in CEA. The only things they got right so far in that game is the stuff Bungie already put in.

You honestly expect me to blindly trust 343?

As for Theater and Multiplayer it’s easier said than done. If they had put them in, not only would it be more expensive but it probably wouldn’t have been released on its set date. As for trusting them, do you really think that they know nothing about making games? These are even some people who have been involved with Halo since the beginning. I’m not telling you, that you have to believe in them. I’m just letting you know that these people are professionals, which is alot more than I can say about most of the people here.
