Halo campaign Skulls are AWFUL (again)

Since the Halo 3 campaign we have only been able to choose the same set of boring skulls. As a Halo fan: THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Halo 2 classic, HCEA and H2A have the best examples of how to set amazing skulls in a game. Not everyone who plays the campaign wants the game to be a sweaty MLG TRYHARD experience. I am so tired of having to explain that Halo should be more about having fun in the traditional sense and not in the “everything is harder” aspect.

Some of my fondest memories is playing with envy on, or recently feather and bandana. It’s a tragic experience that 343 and Bungie Both don’t want to appeal to both the types of players as far as the campaign. This should at least change before Halo 6 makes the same mistakes. What do you think?

It is kind of sad that all the fun skulls of H2A didn’t return. Like Bonded pair or Master Blaster. Although to be fair maybe some of those skulls wouldn’t function too well anyway in Halo 5. But some of them maybe would. I feel like H2A set a new standard for skulls. It’s a shame 343 didn’t continue with that in Halo 5. Better skulls was one of the things 343 could actually say for a fact they did better than the original games, without argument. Although I suppose there is hope. I’d love to see more fun skulls return alongside Campaign challenges/commendations.

Yes it is, and it’s upsetting that we can’t use these amazing modifiers in Halo 4-5
