So the game play is really really good I love it, but from a story telling part of it. I just feel kind of lacks. It took a destiny approach which focused more on the world and gameplay and not the story. I also want to point out that all of the missions were kind of similar since they were all on The Same world, where as in past Halo’s we had 12 completely different looking missions. As Halo 4 got alot of flack but the campaign was filled with great storytelling and emotion. Same with Halo 2 3, and Reach. It’s really fun but sometimes the main missions also felt like side mission, like traveling across the entire map just to disable a AA Guns.
Also the progression and unlocks is being worked on in multiplayer and i’ll just put this here. I played 4000 Halo 3 multiplayer matches a couple thousand Halo Reach and Halo 4 Multiplayers, and also 1,384 MCC.
I was playing MCC everyday, the minute I found out that progression was locked behind challenges instead of just playing I stopped, playing. I have not played it since and don’t plan on it. That’s like 4 unlocks a day when I have like 5 seasons to go through. I can’t believe they kinda did that same thing with Halo Infinite and locked all the decent stuff behind a pay wall, and a unreasonable grind.
Not complaining Halo is my ALL TIME favorite game series but i’m just giving feed back! Alot of good series nowadays are getting ruined by paywalls, and i’m hoping Halo doesn’t go out like that.
