Halo books

So I was thinking about how I’m not so attached to the new things such as Spartan IVs and MJOLNIR Gen 2, and I came to the conclusion that it was due to my attachment to the first Halo book trilogy. “Fall of Reach”, “The Flood”, and “First strike” to be specific. I felt like I really knew and understood those types of Spartans and equipment ect, especially with “The Flood” in how it went through how the Chief thought ect.
How does this relate to the new content? Well I was wondering what everyone thought and felt about all these new things, (I know it’s sort of late to talk about, but I actually had a midnight splurge over my friend’s Halo comics all the up to the latest Escalation.

Speaking of which, when it came to the original Blue team, I was so excited! ) I really really REALLY hope they 343 sticks to a protagonist somewhere or even go back to the Chief and share us his thoughts.
Hopefully this makes sense, and not too late to talk about either!

I hope New Blood goes into detail over it.

A fair few of those spartans are still running around. It would be nice to see them again, and especially nice to see a possible reunion with 117.

you should definitely read the Escalation comics if you haven’t. But of course comics , to me at least, never compare to the rich details of the books.

Oh ya definitely, and I really hope that the story will help further the plot of guys from Halo 3 ODST. For example, Escalation filled in on so many questions of mine such as Team Black and Spirit of fire (kinda). Hopefully the “New Blood” will have those same ODSTs in the next Halo game or still in the universe doing something cool.

Ya, I keep wishing for a book with eric nylund and Blue team. Good old days… Doubt it will happen though.

I don’t actully hate the new books, just some of the characterization and … “messages” in them.
