Halo books and expanded lore discussion. Spoilers!

I found a new Halo book coming in September this year. No cover art. But available for Pre-Order. It is called Halo: Oblivion. No synopsis, no info, nothing. Just the title and author. I have not searched physical store websites, like Barns & Noble. Nor have I searched Amazon for an Ebook. I use Audible. That is where I found it. I am almost done purchasing the rest. I only have about 6 more books and I will own all of the Halo books as well as the games and audio soundtracks. And a few BoomCo guns I will pay to be moddified to look more… realistic. I have read a lot of the books so far. But not all. I accept spoilers. But pleases put them in a spoiler box. Like this:

Click the exclamation mark on the top.

It is in the triangle!

That way, anyone can read what they know. And wait for the surprises for what they do not. I hope mods will help me in keeping this mini “rule” in place. I do not know if I can delete posts in my own thread. But they can. So, what books are your favorite? What did you find that you never knew?

Note: any differences between the books and games mean the game is the TRUE CANON. Anything not specifically mentioned or discussed in the games are considered TRUE CANON. The games always come first in the lore. Books second. For example, in the book Halo: The Flood,

The chapter The Silent Cartographer has the Marines replaced by ODSTs on the beach you first spawn. And the dialog during certain missions and what we know as Cutscenes are sometimes right on the money. And other times, very different. So, Let’s start a Halo Book Club on this website. It would be a “Great Journey” in my opinion.

Hope to have a great discussion about the expanded lore!
